A thin stack of notes, on a variety of papers. They are crinkled as if stuffed into their hiding place. The notes are written in two different hands. One of the notes is on business letterhead - this is the only clue to the identity of the writers

"He came home late last night again. I don't buy his excuse."

"She started crying as soon as I walked through the door."

    "He never talks to me."

"She interrupted the championship game to talk about CURTAINS"

"He left the toilet seat up. When I confronted him about it, he shrugged."

"She suggested bringing pork chops to my mother's potluck. She didn't even know what was so bad about that!"

"When I asked him what he thought about having kids, he grunted. He didn't even look away from the TV!"

"She's been awfully chatty with the mailman lately."

"He's been flirting with that slut at the supermarket."

    "I feel trapped!"

    "I feel trapped!"

A nice example of the small scale to constrast all the grand opera found in most letters.

Niiiice. In the draft of the game I'm writing now, this might be called a Rain story.

Rain – Water-style stories with small scope and heavy mood: A single drop of water, like a tear drop, can wreak as much personal havoc as a flood. Rain stories are private dramas with a more serious tone. Some media you can reference include My So-Called Life, featuring young people whose lives are interwoven through serious real-world issues like child abuse, prejudice, addiction, homelessness, adultery, and school violence.
